The words of Kirsten's father captured the essence and spirit of this couple's journey and the beginning of their story as husband and wife together.

In early August in Lincoln, MA Kirsten and Christopher got ready in separate rooms with all their bridesmaids and groomsmen. As Christopher read a personal letter written by his wife to be, Kirsten and her girls were primping and making life long memories together.

Christopher and Kirsten said their I dos in a beautiful church in front of friends and family. The couple did not do a first look before the ceremony- the first time they saw each other was Kirsten's first steps down the aisle.

After the blissful wedding, the party got started at The Pierce House, a gorgeous 1900 century mansion nestled in the Lincoln countryside. Food, drinks, yard games and lots of mingling among guests got the sunny afternoon off to a great start. While friends and family mingled, the bridal party took formals over on the side lawn with the picturesque scenery.

All the speeches were heartfelt and memorable; brothers, bridesmaids and parents all went up, told stories, gave their blessings and wished the happy couple of life of bliss and longevity. One of Christopher's brothers wrapped up the toast with this complement, "One particular career, if you will, that Chris will really exceed in after today, it would be Kirsten's husband. We are pretty darn sure you have the resume to excel at that."

Dancing, viking hats, sunglasses, sandals and mad dance offs all made their appearances after dinner and speeches. Guest also were able to take their own photos in a photo booth that was set up all night with props and print out of pictures. Fun and laughter was had by all and dancing lasted late into the night.

]]> (Jeremiah Sjoberg Photography) https://www.jeremiahsjoberg.com/blog/2015/2/christopher-kirsten Fri, 13 Feb 2015 16:24:32 GMT Alison & Justin https://www.jeremiahsjoberg.com/blog/2015/2/alison-justin On a warm mid June day in Amherst, MA, Justin and Alison celebrated their marriage with friends and family.  The couple eloped earlier in the year and were now able to share their love and joy with some of the most special people in their life.  Alison's childhood home was stunning next to a magnificent tent and a striking blue sky.  Thoughtfully made, handcrafted decorations could be found out on the patio, in the house and tent.  Festivities and a heated game of croquet kept the family, friends, and youngsters content all evening.

The couple's celebration would not have been complete without necktie wearing penguins, hanging air plants and sparklers.  Alison and her bridesmaids sported delicate handmade flowers out of decorative paper, trail and topographical maps and matching initial bracelets. Justin and Alison both share a love of outdoor adventure, their favorite past time is rock climbing. Their love for each other and their love of gravity defying adventure plays an enormous role in their lives. To keep what they love close to their heart, their matching wedding bands are one of a kind with topographical lines marked on them.

They danced their fist dance to the tune of a saxophone played by one of Alison's brothers. Beautiful and heartfelt speeches were made by parents and friends, and the night wrapped up with a cupcake tier, dancing on the patio, photo booth fun and of course sparklers!
